Global Mission Outreach..
Motivated Solely For The Glory of God
Statement of Faith
- We believe the Holy Bible is a divinely inspired word of God. It is completely accurate, contains the truth, and is free from any error.
- We believe in the unity of the Godhead, there are three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God and Jesus Christ has provided Salvation for all people.
- We believe all believers, regardless of background or differences, are part of God's family and should strive to live in harmony with one another.
- We believe in water baptism and observance of the Lord Super.
- We believe that every believer has unlimited potential for growth and ministries through the study of the word of God, prayer, and renewing of the mind.
- We believe that the civil government is by divine appointment for the interest and good of human society. They are to be prayed for and obeyed except only in things opposed to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe that all believers are to reach out with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and the end will come when there shall be a literal return of our Lord Jesus Christ to receive His Church.
- We believe there shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust. The just will spend eternity with God and the unjust to spend eternity separated from God.
The Discipler's Notable Notes:
- Disciplers should pray for one another and request prayer from one another to effectively engage in God's kingdom assignments.
- Disciplers should let the world know that God's love is not limited, it extends to all people. He's actively longing to connect with anyone who seeks Him regardless of their background or circumstances.
- Disciplers should draw people's attention to the will of God and emphasize that God jealously desires everyone to know Him personally. He wants everyone to experience His blessings and power. He wants us to fulfill our purpose by the power of His Spirit that works inside us. The closer we get to know God, the more depth we build into our relationship with Him and the more we begin to see God's power, and His presence in our lives and the communities. It's through prayer and Bible intake that we come to know God better and understand His will for our lives.
- Disciplers should let it be known that God will exhaust any means to draw anyone to Himself. Doubts, frustrations, concerns, and/or questions might be the evidence that God is creating a path for anyone to know Him better. He works in people before He can work through them and He sometimes allows difficult circumstances to strengthen them and to demonstrate His power.
- Disciplers should emphasize the fact that mission work is not about knowing everything or doing anything alone, nor being perfect; it is about God’s grace and having a heart ready to serve God faithfully. It is God who empowers people to live out their callings, by providing strength and ability to fulfill their purpose through the Holy Spirit which resides within them.
- Our name "Lifeway" is directly linked to Bible passage John 14: 6, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" signifying that the Lifeway Outreach Communitas's mission serves as the Lifeway that guide people towards the way, the truth and the life based on our Lord Jesus Christ's teachings.
- Communitas is a Latin word that describes the action of mission that is birth from being together, the group of people mutually commits to growing in grace with each other lives, while living out and experiencing a fruitful spiritual journey together.
- Our Lord Jesus Christ also modeled the action of a mission that relates to communitas. He created a select group of disciples with whom He built relationships, taught, prayed, cried and ate with them. The disciples followed Jesus and learned from Him, they experienced a deepening relationship with Him and cultivate a greater capacity for His grace. They were empowered by the Holy Spirit to perform miracles, preach the gospel, and overcome opposition as the Lord, Jesus Christ continued to work with them after He ascended to heaven. Acts 4:13-20. Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 16:20; Acts 14:3; Rom. 15:5-7; 1 Cor. 1:10))).
